ENLIT Europe 2024

We are excited to announce that we’ll be partnering with ENLIT Europe again this year! ENLIT, the premier event for the energy sector, focuses on energy transition and decarbonization, and this year’s edition will take place in Milan from October 22nd-24th.

We’re also proud to share that several of our members will be speaking at the event, covering key topics such as energy communities, energy sharing, financing, and customer communication. GEODE experts speakers will include:

• Carmen Gimeno, Secretary General of GEODE, will be speaking at the session “Financing the Great Power Grid Upgrade” on October 23rd, from 14:15-15:15. Furthermore, she will also be moderating the session “The Role of DSOs in Energy Sharing” on October 22nd, from 15:30 to 17:00
• Jonas Marek, Service Manager at Wiener Netze GmbH, will speak at the session “The Role of DSOs in Energy Sharing” on October 22nd, from 15:30 to 17:00
• Xavier Bou Torrent, Energy Communities’ Director at ELECSUM, will speak at the session “The Role of DSOs in Energy Sharing” on October 22nd, from 15:30 to 17:00. He will also speak at the session “Grid Support: Role of Prosumers & Consumers” on October 23rd, from 12:10-13:15
• Joaquín P. Mas Belso, Director General of Grupo ENERCOOP, will speak at the session “Energy Communities: Digital Platforms” on October 23rd, from 11:30-12:35
• Tiina Ylitolva, Service Manager of the Digital Services and Information Management at Elenia, will speak at the session “Customer Communication & Engagement: Best Practices” on October 24th, from 9:15-10:45
